Holiday Week 2020: Elementary Festivities

What starts with reindeer antlers and elf ears and ends with a splattering of red and green? Holiday week at the elementary! Students got festive the last full week of instruction before holiday recess to bring in some holiday cheer to the school days. On Monday, they wore Santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer antlers. Tuesday was Holiday Sock day and Wednesday was the all-time favorite Ugly Sweater day. Thursday was originally Holiday Pajama day but the students celebrated that at home with a much-anticipated snow day. Pajama day was then moved to the following Wednesday during the last school day of 2020, which was also celebrated with classroom parties. Friday was an All Red and Green day where students put their creativity to the test to see how much red and green they could possibly wear in one outfit. Other activities such as gingerbread house making, door decorating contests, and a surprise visit from Santa took place. Remote students got to drive through to see Santa and pick up holiday treats! The students, teachers, and staff enjoyed the festivities and getting into the holiday spirit, and we hope each and every Tully family has a wonderful holiday recess!
