Graduation 2021

Another graduation is in the books, making 125 commencement ceremonies for Tully CSD. While not the usual scene, and somewhat different from last year’s event, graduation was a joyous and memorable occasion this year. Not only was the Class of 2021 moving onto bigger things, Mrs. Murphy gave graduation remarks for the last time as she retired a few days later. Tiernan Tobin sang the National Anthem boldly and proudly, and heartfelt speeches were given by Elisabeth Moss (Student Vice President), Moira McAninch (Salutatorian), and Elizabeth Caron (Valedictorian). “The Bones” was sung beautifully by Elizabeth Caron, Ian Leiby, Joseph Morgan, Elisabeth Moss, and Clara Zook, and was directed by Mrs. Krumbach. After receiving their diplomas, students walked into the group of spectators to be with their loved ones. They repositioned their tassels and threw their caps in the air with parents standing close by. Afterwards, students could visit with one another and get their picture taken with the knight. Some chose to head to Song Mountain for pictures at the peak, a generous opportunity given by Peter Harris and some of the ski patrol staff. Congratulations, Class of 2021! Tully CSD looks forward to seeing all the great accomplishments this class has to offer!
