Junior Senior High School Principal

A message from the Principal

The administration, faculty and staff at Tully Junior Senior High School are dedicated to providing all students with the necessary skills and aptitudes to be successful at their chosen endeavor.

We offer courses at the enriched/honors, Advanced Placement (AP), and collegiate levels.  Our students are encouraged to take challenging coursework that will best prepare them for their immediate future and beyond.  Support is provided to those in need through Academic Intervention Services (AIS) and Special Education.  In order to provide our students with the best opportunities possible, we offer distance learning courses through partnerships with BOCES and neighboring school districts.

Extra-curricular activities play a vital role in the development of our students.  Our interscholastic athletic teams, drama club, and music programs are well-regarded in the area.  Our athletes have league, sectional regional, and state titles to their credit, while frequently being recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association as Scholar Athletes.  Our drama program is recognized annually at the Cortland Repertory Theatre Awards for both acting and technical roles that our students perform.  Musically, our students regularly score in the top two levels in New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) festivals while also securing places in All County and Area All State ensembles.  Our FFA chapter members routinely win competitions at the New York State Fair and go on to compete at the regional and national conventions.  Our Academic Decathlon team gets stronger every year, recently competing for the state title.

Our district is thankful for the high level of support it receives from the Tully community.  Graduates proudly move on to two- and four-year colleges, the military or work.  Cornell University, Le Moyne College, Colgate University, Marist College and SUNY Binghamton are some of the pretigious schools to which our students are frequently accepted.

The administration, faculty and staff are very proud of our students and all of their accomplishments.

Please call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.
